Proxmox Home Lab Infrastructure

Built a production-like virtualized lab with VLANs, pfSense, and multi-node architecture.

A self-hosted Proxmox cluster designed to mirror enterprise networking and identity scenarios at small scale, used as a sandbox for systems engineering practice. Practising production-grade networking and identity work usually requires access to real corporate infrastructure. That ceiling slows skills development and makes it hard to test changes safely before applying them in real environments. A multi-node Proxmox VE deployment with pfSense routing, VLAN segmentation between identity / services / clients, and Windows Server domain controllers replicated across nodes. Snapshots and isolated networks make destructive testing recoverable in seconds. → Simulated real enterprise environments for hands-on systems engineering.
